Cecilia Rodhe and the Ladies of the Arc held a deeply meaningful Expression From the Inside workshop at St. Nicholas Cathedral School. Through painting and sculpture, the youth were invited to reflect on and recreate a joyful memory from home — gently reconnecting with moments of love, safety, beauty, and belonging that remain with them despite the upheaval and displacement they have experienced.

The workshop created space not only for creativity, but for remembrance, connection, and the quiet resilience that lives within holding onto joy during difficult times.
It was a beautiful reminder of the way creativity can transcend language, culture, and circumstance, creating moments of understanding and healing through art.
