The former Dance Moms star took to Instagram on June 1 to update fans, showing off the black eye patch she’s been wearing while healing. JoJo explained she suffered a concussion after falling from a golf cart, landing on her neck and hitting her head. While she says she’s still “nowhere near 100%,” the singer emphasized that she’s recovering well with rest and has scaled back tour rehearsals on medical advice. Keeping her sense of humor, JoJo joked that if fans see her wearing sunglasses, she’s not being dramatic—she’s just giving her eye some relief.
