## Caption

A reverse layup is a very useful move to have in your toolset. If a basketball player is driving towards the hoop and the defender jumps up to block it, you can slide to the other side of the hoop to have a much more open shot.

In order for this to be effective, the behind the back and between the legs dribbling is unnecessary, the player would need to drive hard to the basket. 

NBA legend Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat was very skilled at using this move to his advantage, dropping many points for the Miami Heat during his time there with notable players such as LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Ray Allen.
