A young woman hosted a gender reveal to find out the sex of her unborn child. When the results showed she was having a girl, she appeared disappointed because she wanted a boy.
According to what was shown in the video, a friend gave her an abortion pill, and during the live stream she claimed she was taking it because she did not want a daughter. The child's father was not even present.
Personally, I do not support abortion, nor do I support turning something this serious into entertainment, attention-seeking, or social media content. Regardless of where someone stands on abortion, watching a decision of this magnitude become a spectacle for views raises serious questions about the direction of parts of modern internet culture.
When human life becomes content, people sometimes forget the weight of what they are watching.
