🇫🇷🇺🇸 Last night, French Ambassador Laurent Bili, alongside our colleagues from franceatlanta had the privilege of saluting 28 WWII veterans before they fly to Normandy for the 82nd anniversary of D-Day and the 2026 Freedom Prize ceremony.

✈️ For the fifth consecutive year, Delta Air Lines and the Best Defense Foundation, with the support of Michelin, are bringing these heroes back to the shores where they helped shape history and defend freedom.

🏫 Two dozen students are also joining this journey through two educational programs designed to ensure the stories and values of the “Greatest Generation” live on: the Best Defense Foundation’s NextGen Program and the Région Normandie’s Freedom Prize program.

Wishing all the veterans, students, and volunteers a safe and memorable journey! 🇺🇸✈️🇫🇷
