❓Q: Share a noteworthy work or personal success you are proud of.
🔸I find that what keeps me motivated are the small, everyday successes just as much as the big milestones. It’s those moments when a community member shares that an event design inspired them to buy tickets, or a client expresses the ease they felt after redesigning their medication information packets. While I’m incredibly proud of the larger projects I’ve been a part of, it’s these everyday wins that remind me why I love working with nonprofits. Every effort—big or small—that is person-first makes a difference.

❓Q: What do you do day-to-day, and what do you love most about your work?
🔸As I settle into my new role at KAA, I'm excited to help amplify our brand messaging, increase community awareness, and foster strong partnerships that will help us grow and enhance the services we provide to our participants.

❓Q: What skills or unique strengths do you bring to your role?
🔸With a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a decade of experience in nonprofit development, I bring a deep foundation and commitment to crafting meaningful stories that inspire people to support person-centered missions and building strong communities.

❓Q: What is your "Why" for working at KAA?
🔸I've spent the majority of my career working in nonprofit development, and what I love most about this field is being exposed to new communities, their challenges, and how as nonprofit professionals we can make an impact on a community. In the organizations I have worked with, I have found one common goal - creating inclusive spaces builds stronger, healthier, and more empathetic communities. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join another person-centered mission and serve the developmental disability community by learning from their stories and advocating for their needs.

❓Q: What's a fun, little-known fact or talent you have?
🔸I'm a crochet artist! I have designed everything from simple tank tops and not so simple sweaters to a bridesmaid dress!

❓Q:What's your go to karaoke song?
🔸ABSOLUTELY NOT! My anxiety could NEVER [insert as many laughing crying emojis as you would like hahaha) But if I could scrounge up the courage . . . Love Don't by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats OR Tear in My Heart by Twenty One Pilots.
