I can’t find the account where I heard this, but it was so good I had to repost it.

Of course, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes designers fight for deadlines. Sometimes others fight for users.

But overall, after 12 years in UX design, I have to say that this quote is accurate 95% of the time.
