Congrats, Juliet!

Juliet is a School Without Walls student who has spent the last four years holding it down as a coxswain for the boys program. This year, she took on a completely unique challenge as the only girl on the entire boys varsity roster. It takes a massive amount of mental toughness and pure strength to command a boat full of varsity guys every single day, and Juliet did it without missing a beat, earning our absolute respect.

On the water, her track record speaks for itself. She steered the Novice 8 to a first-place finish at WMIRAs back in 2023 and took second in the 2V 8+ in 2024. But without a doubt, her standout moment on this team was last year when she brought home another WMIRA gold with the 2V 8+ and marking an unbelievable, true program best for the boys team!

We always knew our 2V boat was in good hands with Juliet at the microphone, even when things may have gotten a bit unpredictable. Such as steering us towards the only floating log on the Potomac or calling a sudden power ten just to outrun a power boat, she always knew exactly how to command the boat and keep us moving fast.

Juliet is heading to the University of Georgia this fall to study Public Policy. She leaves the incoming freshmen with a crucial piece of survival advice: go to sleep early!

Go Dawgs, Juliet! We are going to miss you so much.
