In 2024, we were able to give out $22,000 of scholarships to campers who otherwise may not have had a week of:

- undistracted time with peers

- trying new things

- plenty of time spent outside

- conversations with counselors they could relate to

- making new friends from different backgrounds

- escape from everyday stressors

- and most importantly, learning about God and his Word

We never want someone’s financial situation to prevent them from coming and hearing the Good News of Jesus at camp.

Going canoeing or fishing doesn’t change someone’s life, but we’ve seen that God works in the hearts of those who come to camp, whether they go to church 3 times a week or have never heard Jesus’ name.

This is why we’re raising money for our scholarship fund through Camp’s Cookout this year!

Every dollar raised will go towards helping kids come to camp, and you get good lunch too!

You can join us on Friday, May 2nd from 11-1 in Livingston Central Park if you want to help with this effort.

If you’re not local but want to help, you can give to our campership fund at cedarlakecamp.org/partner. (The link is in our bio too)
