I had to meet darkness to understand what I was dealing with.

As a teenager to adulthood, I was pulled toward sorrow, grief, isolation, and the shadows of my own mind. I thought the battle was between light and darkness around me. In the end, I learned the real battle was within me—against arrogance, lust, power, and shame.

I never wanted darkness as an aesthetic. It was a battle of the soul.
I never truly understood goth culture or Dark Romanticism until I turned to Allah for help and realized why their themes of melancholy, longing, and searching for meaning resonated with me so deeply. Also, my batcave fans helped me open my eyes.

Depression, grief, isolation, and a traumatic imagination nearly became my identity. But Islam taught me that the real struggle is within ourselves

Islam also taught me that Shaytan has no power except what we allow. The darkness I once identified with became the very thing that led me back to Allah.

I don't celebrate the Jinns or darkness. I survived them.

Allah saved me at the edge of it. The demons 😈 wanted me to remain poor, limited, sad, and stripped from potential and ambition to reach my dreams as if they can foresee my bright future.

The darkness was real, but it was never stronger than the fire Allah placed within me. What others saw as my ending was only my transformation.

Now I rise from the ashes of who I was, carrying the lessons of the darkness and the light that survived it.

》》The comeback has begun.
