Abraham left what he loved most as an act of faith.

In Eid al-Adha, we are reminded: let go of worldly attachment, and trust what returns is greater. It's a test! Let go of control. Let Allah bigger than Trump and 2 trillion galaxies control your destiny and big dreams. 

I once held onto what I thought was everything—Garfield—and a vision of building something on the scale of a McDonald’s-style global franchise for lasagna, with over 200 locations planned worldwide - but the project ultimately came to an end when Jim Davis sold the IP to Paramount/Nickelodeon. 

Coincidentally, I launched my book during Eid. 

A time of sacrifice, reflection, and letting go.
Maybe that timing means nothing.
Or maybe it means everything.

Either way, what comes next is not smaller.
