Hey Banana Slugs!! Did you know that UCSC’s iconic mascot, the banana slug, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year? 💛

UCSC’s Division of Student Affairs and Success (ucsc.dsas) held a carnival on May 30th celebrating four decades with our mascot mollusk!! 😎🤟

🎥 Video Description: Two UCSC students attend the “Go Bananas” carnival, celebrating 40 years of UCSC’s mascot. The event took place on a sunny day on a vast field, and various activities included climbing walls, bumper cars, caricatures, bouncy houses, cotton candy, and more.
