I’m going to be brutally honest. I have not hosted a retreat in over a decade. The reason is the same one behind why I stopped taking care of myself. 

I got focused. On building my business, on teaching teacher trainings, on raising my kids. None of that is a bad thing to be focused on. But somewhere in there the connection that made me fall in love with teaching in the first place became something I kept saying I did not have time for. So I kept saying no to the one thing I always loved hosting: retreats. And to be very candid, to a lot of other things, both personally and professionally.

A few months ago I went to Mexico and realized later was never going to come on its own. I had to make the time. So I did what I do best: took a leap. Put it together with love and care. And did the thing I had been thinking about for so long.

And here is the part I did not expect. In just the first few days the retreat has been live, it is already giving me back the exact thing I had been missing. People who have wanted to practice with me for years, some I have known online for decades, are signing up. New connections. An old kind of excitement I had honestly forgotten. I finally get to meet so many of you in person, especially those of you on this side of the world.

And better yet: I get to create a safe space for you to do the same. To put the focus back on you in a way that feels energizing, inspiring and genuinely good when you return home. 

We’ll spend for days together in Punta de Mita this October. Yoga every morning, honest conversations about business and building more for yourself with my friend and business partner anteaordonez. And an all inclusive resort right on the beach which you actually have time to enjoy.
