HIGH STREET ITALIA IN SEOUL WELCOMES THE THIRD KOREAME PARTY

Seoul welcomed the third edition of the KoreaME Party. This event brought together artists, designers, performers, and cultural professionals from South Korea and Italy for an evening dedicated to modern creative dialogue.

The programme explored connections between Italian traditional skills and Korean artistic practices through projects across fashion, design, visual arts, and food. The event highlighted how traditional techniques continue to influence modern creative work in both countries.

Among the guests were members of the K-pop group Big Ocean, alongside new Korean artists whose work is attracting attention outside the local cultural scene.

A key feature of the evening was a live demonstration by ceramic artist Baeksong Lee Kyung-hwan. Working in front of guests, he created a ceramic vessel inspired by Italian artistic heritage, while reflecting his own modern Korean approach.

Representatives from the cultural and fashion industries also took part, showing the growing number of projects linking creative communities in South Korea and Italy.

By bringing together professionals from different fields, the KoreaME Party offered a platform for artistic exchange, while showing the importance of craftsmanship in modern culture.
