How we found out & our reaction 👶🏼🐣😭
We want to be honest with you! The moment we found out I was pregnant again, it was a bit of a shock. The biggest reason was that I had an emergency C-section with Oscar and was advised to wait at least a year before getting pregnant again. I was only 10 months postpartum.

Jake and I had planned to start trying once we reached the one-year mark, but life had other plans. It happened much quicker than expected, without us really trying. And honestly, I was scared.

I had so many fears. Was my body ready? Had I healed enough? Could something go wrong? Was I mentally prepared to go through pregnancy and the newborn phase again so soon?

As soon as I saw my gynecologist, things started to feel different. She reassured me that I was extremely healthy, my scar had healed beautifully, and the baby had implanted in the perfect place, far away from my C-section scar. Hearing that lifted such a huge weight off my shoulders.

Pregnancy and motherhood are the most beautiful gifts, but they also require so much of you. Even though Jake and I always wanted our children close in age, I still found myself wondering: Can I do this again already?

Now that I’ve reached 13 weeks, I can honestly say I feel so much better. The sickness is gone, my energy is coming back, and I’m in such a positive place mentally.

I know how lucky we are to be able to experience another pregnancy, it is the greatest blessing.

I’ve always imagined having a family of at least four. We both grew up with siblings, and I cannot wait to watch Oscar become a big brother. 👼🥹🫶🏻
