It’s official: the ‘Heated Rivalry’ x Province of Canada fleece jacket is here… and already gone. 😭

The highly anticipated collab dropped today at 1 p.m. ET and sold out in less than 10 minutes. Yep, you read that right.

The rollout date of the partnership was announced last week after months of fan demand. Viewers first spotted the now-iconic Team Canada fleece worn by Shane Hollander in Episode 2 of ‘Heated Rivalry,’ and immediately started asking where they could get one.

The jacket only gained more buzz from there, with fans creating their own versions and excitement reaching a new level when Hudson Williams gifted his fleece from the show to Prime Minister Mark Carney during a press conference in Ottawa.

When the official pre-order was finally announced, fans were thrilled, until the price tag was revealed. 👀

The fleece retailed for $356 CAD ($256 USD), a detail that wasn’t included in the initial launch announcement and sparked plenty of conversation online.

Still, many fans applauded the inclusive sizing, which ranges from XS to 5XL, and the charitable component of the release. Ten per cent of net profits will support You Can Play, with matching contributions from both the NHL and NHLPA. 👏
