Seven years after the Game of Thrones finale, Emilia Clarke is still jokingly upset about Daenerys Targaryen’s fate. 😭

⚠️ SPOILER ALERT: The actress recently reflected on the show’s final episode, in which Daenerys was killed by her lover, Jon Snow, after she destroyed King’s Landing and declared her intention to rule through fear.

While discussing the ending, Clarke joked that Jon’s decision to stab Daenerys “still bums” her out years later. ➡️

“Outside of the controversy around her actions, him killing me really bummed me out. Kinda rude!” she said. “I gave that man everything. I burned cities to the ground for him, for us so we can do this.” 💀

Leaning into the joke, Clarke sarcastically insisted she was completely over it.

“I’m over it, clearly. I’m so over it. It’s unreal. Livid!” she added before dramatically throwing her cards to the ground. 😂

Daenerys’ death remains one of the most talked-about moments in television history, with fans continuing to debate the character’s final storyline years after the series concluded in 2019.
