## Caption

The structures that resemble smiley faces are vascular bundles in a plant leaf. Each bundle contains xylem, which transports water, and phloem, which transports sugars. Surrounding bundle sheath cells support photosynthesis and transport functions. The face-like appearance is an example of pareidolia, where the human brain perceives familiar patterns, such as faces, in random arrangements.
