In December 2024, Lil Shine & two accomplices faced federal charges for conspiring to obtain controlled substances through fraud, along with 11 counts of wire fraud and 4 counts of aggravated identity theft. They were accused of hacking into the DEA’s physician database from late 2022 to mid-2023, stealing doctors’ credentials to illegally order large volumes of pr*methazine & c*deine for resale. On January 20, 2026, Lil Shine reached a plea agreement.
