Alright. I’m not gatekeeping anything. Here it is. My super secret formula for creating content across various mediums..

Surface + Caffeine = Content

Lol. But seriously. I get questions about this all the time so I’ll try to answer. People assume I have a big machine or some elaborate custom PC build. I do not. I don’t want it either. I do all of my work these days on a very light setup and there’s a freedom that comes with that. With this setup, I can work anywhere!

It’s a MacBook Air M3 16GB RAM. I also use an MX Ergo Mouse so my wrist stops ouching me. That drive there is also pretty sick. 4TB. I can drop it without curling my toes. Don’t be scared. These new M-chips are next level. Though I work in the cloud, I can still run smaller image models locally via ComfyUI or Draw Things. But I truly experience no real meaningful lag across creative software, even when working with larger files. You can always proxy anyway. I have other tricks too and have my system setup in a particular way. Maybe I’ll go into detail about all the software/custom shell scripts/macros I’ve setup to help me get into flow faster soon.

Get this: AI has allowed me to work in the cloud, that means no more hoarding drives, no more laggy timelines because the files are smol. Proly the biggest benefit of working in this new direction.

Also, it’s true what they say. Guys don’t know how to take selfies. Jaja.
