CHRISTINE FILS-AIMÉ is her name. She says she fought for her life. Today, she is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.  According to Christine, she had known Clinton J. Gibson for less than six weeks when they started dating. 

Christine alleges that while dating Clinton, who worked for Washington Gas, she endured harassment, stalking, intimidation, and physical abuse. She further alleges that he used a universal key fob associated with his employment to gain access to her secure apartment building and repeatedly appeared at her door uninvited, causing her to fear for her safety.

Christine says she was attacked inside her home on May 2, 2026, and feared for her life. She says she acted in self-defense. She now faces charges including Attempted Murder, First-Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Her case was indicted and moved from District Court to Montgomery County Circuit Court. She is represented by Michael Stark of Jezic & Moyse.
