Hear from one of our beloved sisters, peytonoliviamiller , who transfered to Charlotte!

“Being a transfer student, rushing was something I never pictured myself doing. I always told my friends in high school they would never see me in a sorority, but after coming to college, I knew I wanted to put myself out there and get involved. Even though I was nervous, giving recruitment a chance ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made. 

When I first came to Charlotte, I was really unsure of myself and lacked a lot of confidence. Going through recruitment pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible and opened me up to so many new experiences and people. 

From the first conversation I had with the girls in Zeta, I felt comfortable. Everything felt genuine, and I never felt pressured to be anyone other than myself. 

Since joining Zeta, I’ve made so many amazing memories and had experiences I never would’ve had if I didn’t decide to rush. I’ve met some of my future bridesmaids, been given incredible opportunities, and found a chapter that truly supports one another. Zeta helped me find the confidence and sense of belonging that I was missing, and I’m so thankful for all of the friendships and memories it has given me.”
