Coming up with fresh shoot ideas for every new product, every season and every campaign is one of those tasks that quietly eats up more time than it should. And more often than not, the brief ends up looking a lot like the last one.

AI can now generate complete shoot concepts for your products. Whether it’s a hero shot, a lifestyle scene or an editorial concept.

But it only works if it’s done properly. Otherwise it can easily backfire. To generate shoot concepts that feel distinctly on-brand, it’s important to understand:

👉🏼 What is the purpose of the shot and what should it communicate? 
👉🏼 Does it need to fit into an existing visual style or campaign? 
👉🏼 Where is the light source coming from and how does it behave? 
👉🏼 What is the subject doing and why does that matter for the image? 
👉🏼 What should be in the frame and what should stay out of it?

But the thing is: 
without a clear brand context behind every concept, the ideas won’t feel cohesive and professional.
