📍 FAIRY MEADOWS, PAKISTAN 🇵🇰

One of the most surreal places I’ve ever seen.

The journey itself feels like an adventure movie:

✈️ Fly to Islamabad

🚐 Travel north on the legendary Karakoram Highway (around 10–14 hours depending on stops and traffic) until you reach Raikot Bridge.

🚙 From Raikot Bridge, take a local 4x4 jeep through what is often called one of the most dangerous roads in the world. The ride to Tattu Village takes around 1.5–2 hours and is honestly an experience on its own.

🥾 From Tattu Village, hike around 2–3 hours through pine forests and mountain trails until Fairy Meadows suddenly appears in front of you.

And then…

You look up.

Nanga Parbat (8,126m), the 9th highest mountain on Earth, standing directly in front of you.

It genuinely doesn’t look real.

━━━ COSTS (2026) ━━━

💰 Islamabad → Raikot transport:
Around PKR 4,000–10,000 depending on bus/private transport.

💰 Jeep from Raikot Bridge → Tattu Village:
Around PKR 12,000–17,000 per jeep round trip, usually shared between 4–6 people.

💰 Accommodation:
Budget huts: PKR 2,000–6,000 per night.
Better wooden cabins: around $60–110 USD including meals.

💰 Food:
Around PKR 600–1,500 per meal.

💰 Total budget:
For a 2–3 day trip, most travelers spend roughly PKR 15,000–25,000+ depending on transport and accommodation choices.

🏡 Broad View Hotel
One of the most popular stays in Fairy Meadows. Wooden cabins facing Nanga Parbat, hot meals, and probably the view you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

━━━ BEST TIME TO VISIT ━━━

☀️ June – September

Wildflowers, green meadows, clearer mountain views, and the most reliable weather.

⚠️ No reliable WiFi.
⚠️ Limited phone signal.
⚠️ Cold nights even in summer.

But honestly…

that’s part of the magic.
