Police are responding to a reported shooting in Sandy at the Cascade Crest Apartments on the south side of town.

A social media post from the Sandy police says:

“Sandy Police and other agencies are on scene of a domestic disturbance and reported shooting in the area of 39500 Evans Street. The area is not safe and we ask that everyone stay out of the area. Residents in the area should lock their doors and remain inside. More information will follow.”

Initial unconfirmed reports involve gunshots and multiple injuries.
