Day 2. School Day.

Kenya keeps surprising me.

Not because of the poverty. Not because of the challenges.

But because of the joy.

Today we spent time at a local school and orphanage, and what stood out wasn’t what the children lacked - it was what they had.

Energy. Gratitude. Resilience. Hope.

The smiles were contagious. The laughter was constant. The sense of community was something many people in the developed world have lost.

Watching Kenzo experience it all firsthand has been one of the most rewarding parts of this trip. There are lessons here that no classroom can teach and no textbook can explain.

Sometimes the greatest education comes from seeing how other people live, appreciating what you have, and realising that happiness has very little to do with possessions and everything to do with connection.

Africa is teaching us both far more than we expected.
