Today, community members, business owners, leaders, and residents came together for a powerful Town Hall discussion about the future of Oakland First Fridays.

The conversation focused on preserving this beloved Oakland experience while addressing important concerns around public safety, after-hours activity in Downtown Oakland, and creating more opportunities and solutions for our youth.

It was a productive and solution-driven conversation filled with thoughtful ideas, honest dialogue, and a shared commitment to Oakland's future. The overwhelming majority of attendees expressed support for keeping Oakland First Fridays alive (including us).
