Things escalated in 2026 when JPEGMAFIA again claimed he was the definitive voice of “experimental rap” and took what many fans interpreted as another shot at Earl’s recent music.

Earl eventually responded on Instagram, mocking JPEGMAFIA’s music and jokingly telling him to “leave me alone.” Since then, most of the conflict has consisted of online comments and subliminal shots rather than diss tracks, with fans largely viewing it as a clash between two artists who have very different ideas of what “experimental” hip-hop should sound like.
