Everyone warned me about Istanbul. They were all wrong. 🇹🇷

This city has had three names - Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul. Three names. Three of the greatest empires in human history. One city that never stopped.

Most people see the chaos on the surface. What they miss is what’s underneath, a city with 2,000 years of uninterrupted civilisation running through its streets like a current.

You can walk from a Roman cistern to an Ottoman mosque to a modern rooftop bar in twenty minutes. No other city on earth holds that much world in one place.

Istanbul is the only city that felt like a masterclass in what it means to endure, adapt, and still have something to prove.
