Introducing to the graduating class of The Center’s inaugural Schule of Drag! 🤩🎓⁠

Earlier this month, 10 community members participated in our first-ever 4-day drag workshop, taught by the transcendent August Celestial. Students learned fundamentals like stage presence, costume concepts, audience interaction, makeup tips, and much more.⁠
⁠
The workshop culminated in a live performance at Hamburger Mary’s. We are SO proud of all of our drag children! It was so exciting to see the payoff of everyone’s hard work and dedication. The crowd went wild for each and every performer, and it was heartwarming to see the students cheering each other on and celebrating in their collective success 🎉⁠
