I’m going to get a reputation for wanting to trade Cole, but I only involve him in these deals for other point guards because I assume that’s what the other teams would want. You can easily replace his contract with Wendell’s. However, this trade brings in a lead guard whose ability to score consistently and create his own shot could elevate Orlando to a stronger playoff contender, while adding a promising young big in #DayRonSharpe. 

Dennis is set to make $13M next season before hitting unrestricted free agency and would serve as a bridge guard while Black continues to develop.
