KCP, 31, has a $15.4M player option for the 2024-25 season. Meaning, if he is to decline it, he would become an unrestricted free agent. As per Grant Hughes of B/R, the #Nuggets ‘may not be willing to match a big offer from a team with significant cap space available.’ 

This past season, the 3-and-D specialist posted averages of 10.1 PTS, 2.4 REB, 2.4 AST and 1.3 STL while converting 40.6% of his 3PT shots (4.1 3PA).

Inking KCP to a deal worth over $16M annually could benefit Orlando’s rising core tremendously. He won titles with the Lakers and Nuggets and would assume a starting two-guard spot on a young Magic team in desperate need of his expertise. In turn, this move would mark the end of the #GaryHarris era.
