𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 ➤ An absolutely blood-boiling loss for the #Magic at home tonight. Is that too dramatic? Maybe, but to lose solely due to a baffling second-half disasterclass behind a masterful performance from TJ McConnell… with playoff implications creeping around? I think everybody should be upset about this one.

𝗦𝗪𝗜𝗣𝗘 ➡️ for top performers/stats

➤ Defensive efforts were at a season-low tonight. Orlando couldn’t read, nor could they keep up with Indiana’s fast-paced offensive schemes. And with such a slow reaction time, it allowed the league’s best 1-2 playmaking punch (Hali + TJ) to break down Orlando’s defense with ease.

➤ #PaoloBanchero tried to carry too much of the load when Orlando’s offense wasn’t clicking. Subpar shot selection didn’t translate to anything more than subpar results.

➤ I’m starting to think our best option at center is #JonathanIsaac, especially since Mosley has no interest in playing #GogaBitadze whatsoever. His defensive prowess shined tonight, keeping Orlando within 10 points when they should’ve been down 20.

➤ With all due respect, I don’t think the Wagner brothers are tremendous rebounders. At least, their efforts didn’t indicate otherwise tonight. Too many rotations were used where they were the biggest guys on the court, and when Indy responded by playing Jackson and Turner, there was no chance on the glass.
