➤ #PaoloBanchero’s promising start to his sophomore season has — in my eyes — cemented his case as an All-Stat talent on the path to superstardom. He’s getting to the line in crunch time (when it truly matters) and has perfected his midrange + 3PT game under pressure. What a stud. 

➤ Remember last season, when all of us were just waiting on Caleb Houstan’s jump? It’s finally here. All it took was a handful of real opportunities as a starter. Not only did he notch career-highs in points (25) and 3PM (7), but he did so with efficiency. Over 50% FG and exactly 50% from deep. It’s safe to say that, even when this team is at full health, he’s got a concrete spot in this rotation. 

➤ I also don’t think it’s crazy to call #JalenSuggs our 3rd-best player. He makes as many winning plays as P5. It’s not often he fouls out, and he did tonight due to some very questionable calls. Otherwise, being able to trust him from deep has relived so much stress for a Magic team thought to lack from that area.
