Roki Sasaki is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher known for his incredible talent and powerful fastball. After becoming a star with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan, he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2025 with very high expectations.

His first MLB season was not easy. Sasaki struggled with his command, dealt with a shoulder injury, and spent several months on the injured list. Many fans wondered if he would be able to live up to the hype after such a difficult start.

However, Sasaki showed great resilience by returning late in the season as a reliever. He became an important part of the Dodgers’ bullpen during the playoffs, delivering strong performances and helping the team win the 2025 World Series. After facing adversity throughout the year, he finished his rookie season as a World Series champion and one of the team’s most trusted postseason pitchers.
