Putting cars on ice sounds like a stunt. Alfa Romeo turned it into art.

Alfa Romeo has made some of the most beautiful cars the world has ever seen.

But in 2018, they had a problem.
ㅤ
They were coming off a decades-long break from selling in the States.
ㅤ
A whole generation of buyers had no relationship with the brand.
ㅤ
So they made a spot called "Wicked Game."
ㅤ
The cars do a coordinated dance on an ice rink. Like tandem figure skaters. Gliding, spinning, moving in perfect sync.

It looks like art, but its really a tech demo.
ㅤ
The whole routine only works because the cars have near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution.
ㅤ
The ad does two jobs at once.
ㅤ
It shows the technical capability of the cars, and it leans on emotion to reinforce who the brand is.

Most ads pick one. Sell the product, or sell the brand.
