I came across a reel by safa_dubai and honestly… I agreed with her. Before you watch my reaction, go watch her original reel because she makes a very important point.

Somewhere along the way, we started measuring a woman’s worth by her paycheck.

And I think that’s unfair.

I have been a corporate leader.

I have built businesses.

I have spoken on stages.

But I have also been a stay-at-home mom.

For almost 3 years, my full-time job was raising my daughter, creating a home, supporting my family, and being present for a season of life that mattered deeply to me.

And yes, I was lucky enough to have a husband who supported that choice.

The funny thing?

Nobody questions a man for financially supporting his family.

Yet somehow, a woman receiving that support is often judged.

Why?

A woman running a company deserves respect.

A woman running a household deserves respect.

A woman doing both deserves respect.

The goal was never to force women into one version of success.

The goal was to give women the freedom to choose their own.
