Catalina Island is the perfect place to escape from Los Angeles and enjoy a couples getaway. We just spent 3 days on the island and got a chance to unwind, relax and go on several adventures together. 

Here's how we spent 3 days.

Stay: Aurora Hotel @auroracatalinaisland 
This adorable boutique hotel gives european vibes and has a stunning rooftop. Enjoy your complimentary breakfast with amazing views over Avalon. 

Eat:
Book at foodie tour with @catalinafoodie and eat your way around Avalon with a local. Our tour guide Janet was fantastic and we loved every stop on the tour. The tour meets at the Wrigley Fountain and also includes lots of history and fun facts. 

Play day 1: 
California Parasail @californiaparasail offers two great adventures. Start with Parasailing @parasailcatalina 800 ft above Avalon with stunning views of Catalina Island. This is very easy for all ages, even my 88 year old grandma has done it there. 

They also offer a Sea Rock Boat Tour that takes you to find the seals at Seal Rock, learn history about Catalina and enjoy the views from the water. 

Play Day 2:
Wet Spot Rental @wetspotrentals has several great options to enjoy the water. We went with a Kayak Tour to Lovers Cove and a Snorkel Rental with full wetsuit. 

The Kayak Tour was amazing, our tour guide Lance was full of so many fun facts and Catalina knowledge as a local. He helped us get to Lovers Cove, feed the fish, and also go around the Casino. 

The Snorkeling in Catalina is amazing for visability and the kelp forest. The rental gear kept us warm and was easy to get in the water without having to travel with it. We saw several fish in Lovers Cove.
