⚠️ When did you first become aware of human trafficking?

If your story is like mine, you can probably still recall the exact moment your eyes were opened.

For me, it was the day my dad called from overseas and told me he had just purchased the freedom of four young girls from traffickers.
At the time, I was in my mid-20s—and honestly, I had little idea what human trafficking even was.

My dad was on a mission trip, surrounded by good men. But when he saw those girls, no one around him was willing to step in.
He told me that he couldn’t leave them there.

So with the cash he had on hand, he opened his wallet and freed them.

It was a split-second decision that changed everything.
There was no safe home to take them to—so we built one.
There’s a saying: “Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.”

My dad wasn’t going to be that man.

Had he stayed silent, who knows where those girls would have been taken—or what would have been done to them.
