For Elizabeth Gonzalez, '26, music was more than a passion. It was also a lifeline.

As a first-generation college student, Elizabeth faced financial setbacks, stepped away from college, and spent years working to return. But she remained committed to her dream of becoming a music teacher and changing students’ lives as well as her own. In May, she received her bachelor’s degree in music education. 🎼 👩‍🎓
