At almost 90-years-old, Dr. Clive O. Callender is still leaving his mark as a legendary transplant surgeon. The Meharry Medical College alum founded the first minority-directed dialysis and transplant center in the country, which is located at Howard University.

He is currently a Professor of Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine.
