Houston’s iconic MacGregor Park in Southeast Houston is set to receive a $54 million renovation that will transform the 65-acre park into a more vibrant and accessible public space.
 
The improvements will include upgrading the tennis center, baseball field, swimming pool, and building a new amphitheater. The park’s perimeter will also be extended by 1.25 miles, linking the Bayou Greenway Trails along Brays Bayou and creating a network of bike lanes.
 
Other renovations include a community plaza, playgrounds, event lawn, youth multipurpose field, and modifications to its parking.
