TEA Deputy Commissioner of Operations Alejandro Delgado led an information session last night at Westbury High School about the board of directors to takeover HISD. 

He stipulated that questions needed to be submitted to an online form via a QR code posted in the room and only questions specifically pertaining to the board of directors application and selection process would be answered. 

Soon, attendees voiced complaints and concerns about the takeover. They wanted to know specifically how TEA planned to improve schools and also questioned why TEA Commissioner Mike Morath, who will be selecting the board, was not in attendance.
