In Deer Park, Skate World Owner J Malone described the scene of the establishment. He said, "it looks like a bomb."
 
Malone and his son were shopping at Home Depot when the tornado passed through the store, feeling the intensity of the winds. He called Skate World staff to warn them. Two minutes later, his store manager called him screaming. Fortunately, he said no one was hurt. 
 
Malone hopes to rebuild the beloved skate ring. "There's a lot of people that have reached out. A big outpouring of people wanting to help," he said. 
 
The Red Cross opened a shelter in Pasadena Tuesday evening for residents affected by the severe weather.
