Students at Katy ISD pushed school officials to lift filters blocking websites with LGBTQ+ resources in some of its high schools. 

Cinco Ranch senior Logan McLean helped launch Gay Straight Alliance, an official student club, because of the backlash against LGBT+ visibility.
