The Houston area will see the start of one project and finish off another on its highways in 2024.

TxDOT spokesman Danny Perez discusses the ongoing work on the I-45 expansion project and other construction projects aimed at improving mobility for commuters.
 
One project drivers can anticipate being completed this year is the 69/610 interchange project near the Galleria. But with that comes closures. This year there will be significant closures along the I-45 corridors, Perez said.
