Parashat: Re’eh
	•	Deuteronomy 11:26–16:17

1. What is Terumah?
	•	“Terumah” means a lifting up, separation, or offering.
	•	It refers to produce (grain, wine, oil) separated from the harvest and given to the Kohen (priest).
	•	The Kohen and his household ate it in purity; it was considered kodesh (holy).

The three holidays requiring pilgrimage to Jerusalem are:
	1.	Pesach (Passover) – Chag HaMatzot
	2.	Shavuot (Weeks, Pentecost)
	3.	Sukkot (Booths/Tabernacles)
