In Torah-based Judaism, the Nephilim are:
	•	Possibly violent or rebellious humans, not supernatural beings.
	•	Maybe ancient warriors or tyrants, described as “men of renown” or “men of name” (אִישֵׁי הַשֵּׁם).
	•	They are NOT angels or part-angel beings in standard Jewish thought.

A angel can’t mate with humans. 
The Torah states “every seed after its own kind” 

•	Some rabbis and commentators (like Ramban / Nachmanides) interpret this phrase as part of a divinely ordered system, where mixing species (kilayim) is later forbidden in Torah law (see Leviticus 19:19).
