Brian Tierney shares how his relationship with Dan Hilferty grew through Philadelphia business, media, and leadership circles, and why Hilferty’s optimistic approach has made him such an impactful leader at Comcast Spectacor and Philadelphia @fifa 2026.

On the SeventySix Capital Sports Leadership Show, Brian Tierney reflects on his long-standing relationship with Dan Hilferty, CEO of Comcast Spectacor and Chair of Philadelphia FIFA 2026.

Tierney shares how their connection goes back to grade school roots, crossed paths through St. Joseph’s University, Independence Blue Cross, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Health Key Conference, before eventually intersecting with Comcast Spectacor.

He also highlights what makes Hilferty such a strong leader: an optimistic, solution-oriented mindset focused not just on what could go wrong, but on what could be possible.
