While Division I gets a lot of attention, Riccio points out that there are even more opportunities for athletes to play at the Division III level, along with a strong and growing college club lacrosse scene.

For young players, that means there are many pathways to keep playing the game beyond high school — whether at the varsity, club, men’s, or women’s level.

Riccio also highlights the bigger opportunity for the lacrosse community: working together to create more visibility, attract more fans, and bring more attention to the sport at every level.
